After the two opening events in Australia and Thailand, the Althea MIE Racing team and rider Alessandro Delbianco return to Europe for the third round of the 2019 Superbike World Championship, taking place this weekend at the Motorland Aragón facility close to Alcañiz, in Spain.

Young Delbianco, who makes his Superbike debut this year, has gained precious experience during the first races of the season, which he aims to harness this weekend at a track of which he already has knowledge. Together with his technicians, the Italian will continue his apprenticeship, striving to improve both his performance on board the Honda CBR1000RR SP2 and his race results.

The Motorland Aragón structure, inaugurated in 2009 and located roughly 250 km from Barcelona, has hosted the Superbike every year since 2011.

“I’m very pleased to get back to racing and return to the track after ten days at home. The Aragón track won’t be an easy one for us I don’t think, considering the long straight, but I’m happy that we’re back to a track that I know, so I already have some frame of reference. I’m just keen to get the weekend started.”
